O'Reilly has provided us with a bunch of giveaways, including some of their Linux and Wireless books as well as O'Reilly Catalogs and User Group Discount Fliers.

Food:

Food Service at this meeting will be provided by Enterasys Networks. So far, the menu is tuna, egg salad, vegetable tuna, rolls, bagels, possibly a pasta dish and tossed salad.

Travel:

Mass Transit is highly recommended, take buses or subways to get to 1 Penn Plaza. There is a parking garage under 1 Penn Plaza. There is NO parking on the street.


Speaker Biography:

Andrew Raver has 13 years in the IT industry, working for Govt., Banking, Financial and IT Consulting companies. During his career, Andrew served as VAX Systems Manager, IT Manager, Network Admin and IT Consultant. He is currently employed at Enterasys Networks, where he is a part of the Systems Engineering Group that serves customers and VAR/Partners.

Dang Nguyen has 5 1/2 years experience in the Air Force as a Maintenance Officer and also Emergency Actions Officer which included specialization in communications and networking. 4 years directly dealing with IT to include focuses in WAN to include, Frame Relay, Private Lines (Point to Point and Internet Access), Managed Services and Managed VPNs. LAN experience includes Enterasys Switching, Routing, VPN, Wireless and Security Products as a Systems Engineer dealing with Educational, Commercial, Medical and Manufacturing customers.
